About the BRAVE Women Program
The BRAVE Women Program, funded by We-Fi through the Islamic Development Bank, is a multi-country initiative with potential for scaling up and replication to revive women-owned/led micro-and small enterprises across Yemen, Nigeria, and Burkina Faso. Bank of Industry (BOI) is the local executing agency of the BRAVE Women project in Nigeria on behalf of the Federal Government. The project seeks to build the capacity of at least 600 women-owned/led MSMEs in Edo, Gombe, and Kano in business resilience, and provide 500 of these firms with a matching grant of between $5000 to $15000 each. Equally, the project will be working with 20-30 lead firms and 10 Business Associations to support them in protecting vital value chains and upgrading the chain performance, impacting on many more MSMEs. Each lead firm and Business Association would be supported with a matching grant ranging from $15000-$50,000.
