*Moves into the application processing phase
On 31 July 2021, after 45 days from the initial call for applications, the Business Resilience Assistance for Value-adding Enterprises for Women in Nigeria (BRAVE Women Nigeria) Project closed its registration portals.
The call for applications had been launched on 18 June 2021 and was initially intended to end on 17 July 2021. However, following huge demand from potential beneficiaries, the deadline for the submission of applications was extended.
With the close of the receipt of applications, the project is currently evaluating the nearly 2,000 applications received against the set criteria for each category of beneficiaries, namely, women small and medium enterprises, lead firms and business associations. The process will be completed in the coming weeks, with selected beneficiaries being eligible to benefit from capacity build activities and to apply for matching grants.
