{"id":2343,"date":"2022-05-25T12:03:10","date_gmt":"2022-05-25T11:03:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bravewomenng.com\/?p=2343"},"modified":"2022-05-25T12:21:21","modified_gmt":"2022-05-25T11:21:21","slug":"call-for-submissions-of-cv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bravewomenng.com\/project\/call-for-submissions-of-cv\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for CV submissions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Terms of Reference for Facilitation of Business Clinics on the BRAVE Women Nigeria<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Background<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Women Entrepreneurship Finance Initiative (We-Fi) is a multi-donor fund consisting of the G-20 countries (hereinafter referred to as the \u201cFund\u201d) currently being administered by the World Bank designated Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDBG) as one of the Implementing Partners (IPs) to support in the implementation of projects approved by the Fund. The Business Resilience Assistance for Value-Added Enterprises (BRAVE) Women Program (hereinafter referred to as the \u201cProgram\u201d) is a 5-year multi-donor fund implemented in Yemen, Nigeria and Burkina Faso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Program focuses on developing and increasing the economic opportunities for female entrepreneurs through skills training aimed at business viability (that is, profitability) in targeted country-specific value chains. It will enhance the bankability, entrepreneurial and market development skills of female-owned\/led Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that are critical to sustainable local growth and job creation. Furthermore, it will promote pro-poor growth by targeting the value chain in the market segments and sectors where the majority of the poor earn their living and tackle gender disparities in economic opportunities by targeting women entrepreneurs. The program would also increase access to finance through a matching-grant scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BRAVE Women Nigeria Project has the following six components:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Business Resilience Capacity Building (BRCB)<\/strong>: Training 600 small and medium-sized businesses on how to assess risks and determine their business priority by preparing a Business Continuity Plan (BCP).<\/li><li><strong>Component 2<\/strong> <strong>Business Recovery Support (BRS)<\/strong>: Grant matching scheme for 500 small and medium enterprises, in pre-selected value chains (agribusiness, healthcare, education, textiles and energy), on a cost-sharing the procurement of capital goods, and services to support business recovery\/growth<\/li><li><strong>Component 3<\/strong> <strong>Value Chain Resilience (VCR)<\/strong>: Work with 20-30 lead firms and 10 Business Associations to support them in protecting vital value chains and upgrading the chain performance, impacting many more MSMEs.<\/li><li>Component 4 IT Platform: An online IT platform will be developed to handle Client Relations Management (CRM), Monitoring\/Reporting and knowledge sharing among project stakeholders.<\/li><li>Component 5 Impact Evaluation and Financial Audit: A standard impact assessment will be undertaken to help assess what works and what does not work for women MSMEs in fragile contexts.&nbsp;&nbsp; In accordance with the project\u2019s financial reporting and auditing requirements, at least three sets of financial reports will be prepared and submitted by the PMU and the project\u2019s partner banks to the ICD. These include interim financial reports\/assurance reports which would be unaudited and the annual and final financial reports of the project which would both be subject to audit.<\/li><li><strong>Component 6<\/strong> <strong>Executing Agency and Project Management Unit (PMU)<\/strong>: The PMU of dedicated professionals and market recruits in each country. The capacity of the PMU will be developed to allow national scaling beyond program boundaries.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to meet the goals for Component 1 \u201cBusiness Resilience Capacity Building\u201d, the services of Facilitators are required to work with the BRAVE Women Nigeria PMU to provide comprehensive business advisory support to SMEs by identifying key challenges in business operations and management with recommendations in three focal states (Edo, Gombe and Kano).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objectives of Assignment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Facilitators would provide beneficiaries with business advisory and training services in Procurement, Goods, Works and Services, Procurement process, Standard Procurement documents, Selection of suppliers, Contract Management, Insurance and Risk Management, Supply Chain, Innovation and Information Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Outputs and Deliverables<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Develop and deliver tailored-made one (1) day training to selected WSMEs.<\/li><li>Support to selected WSMEs in addressing challenges faced in terms of Grant Procurement, Purchase of machines and equipment, After Sales services, Bidding documents, Payment process in procurement, contract management, Insurance Policies, overall business environment risk, and optimal Value for Money.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>List of skills and knowledge transferred to participants. Give adequate time to participants to ask questions from facilitator.<\/li><li>Results of quizzes administered to participants (orally) based on multiple-choice questions.
